swish-aqua-nsw-spotted-gum-12-3mm-laminate-flooring
NSW Spotted Gum - 12.3mm Swish Aqua Laminate Flooring

NSW Spotted Gum is the most muted of this range's four spotted gum decors - a mid grey-brown with taupe drawn through it and the species' tonal jumps present but softened, rather than the pink and caramel the name usually promises. The four are not interchangeable and they do not rank the way you might guess: plain Spotted Gum is the deepest and reddest, QLD Spotted Gum is a lighter warm caramel, Spotted Gum Light is the palest, and this one is the greyest and quietest of the set. Choose NSW if you want spotted gum's variation without its warmth. It is not the right board if you need a floor that lays down uniform and calm.

Spotted gum's colour range is the reason people love it and the reason some people do not. Practically, that variation is the best camouflage you can buy: marks, grit and minor damage vanish into it. The grey-brown cast of this one makes it the easiest of the four to place against cool white and pale grey walls, and it is the one that will sit most quietly beside black tapware and charcoal joinery.

The Aqua platform is a 12.3mm board measuring 2200 x 196mm, micro-bevelled and fitted with Välinge 5G locking, which drops together and floats over underlay with no adhesive. The long board length is part of the look: fewer end joints per square metre reads calmer than a short-plank floor. The headline is the Aqua core, a moisture-resisting core that tolerates spills and damp mopping far better than a standard laminate substrate. It is not a waterproofing system and no laminate is waterproof, so please speak to us before you put it in a bathroom or laundry, where another product is usually the better answer.

VOC emissions are certified below E1, packs run 2.16 m2 over five boards and weigh 23kg, and the range is approved for interior areas in homes and commercial premises. A 25 year warranty covers private use. Supply and install available across Sydney.

Specifications

Laminate flooring

Thickness: 12.3mm

Board size: 2200 x 196mm

Micro-bevelled edge

Välinge 5G locking profile

Floating installation, glueless over underlay

Pack coverage: 2.16 m2 / 5 boards / 23kg

VOC rating: below E1

Aqua core

Suitable for interior areas of private homes and commercial establishments

25 year warranty for private use
