Amigo
Amigo is our kids rug range: seven hand-carved designs with a 13mm pile in 100% heat-set polypropylene on a durable jute backing. Unicorns, rocket ships, bears, pandas, rabbits, stars and a little town.
The designs
Amigo 327 Unicorn and 326 Rabbit are in pink. Amigo 330 Rocket Ship, 331 Town, 323 Bear and 329 Stars are in silver grey, and 322 Panda is in blue. The pattern is carved into the pile, so the shapes have a raised 3D edge a child can trace with a finger.
Sizes
Every design comes in 80x150cm, which suits a bedside or a reading corner, and in 120x170cm. The Town, Rocket Ship, Unicorn, Bear and Panda designs come in 160x230cm for a playroom floor.
Why polypropylene for a kids room
Polypropylene does not absorb liquid the way wool does, so spills blot out rather than soaking in. The rug weighs about 2.85kg per square metre. On timber or tiles, use an anti slip underlay. See more in kids rugs.
