Chocolate Vintage Oak is the richest dark board in the MTF range: a deep coffee brown with warm undertones and strong grain visible through the depth of colour. Where Forest Black Oak is cool and near-black, this one is unmistakably warm, which makes it the friendlier of the two dark options.
Dark warm floors suit period homes, rooms with timber joinery, and anywhere you want a sense of weight without coldness. As with any dark board, it wants light around it. In a small or dim room it will close the space in, and it shows dust more readily than a mid-tone. In a well-lit open-plan room it looks expensive.
The 12mm construction gives you less flex and less hollow sound than the 8mm boards common at the budget end, plus better tolerance of an uneven subfloor. AC4 rated for light commercial traffic, 24 hour water resistant, four-sided micro bevel, short edge drop lock and long edge click. Supply and install available across Sydney.
