Laminate flooring is a click-together board with a high density fibreboard core, a printed timber layer and a clear wear layer on top. We stock 134 laminate colours from four suppliers, from 8mm to 14mm thick. Buy supply only, or have us measure and install your laminate floor anywhere in Sydney.
Laminate ranges are rated very differently for spills, and the rating decides whether a board belongs in a kitchen.
Eco Flooring specifies its standard Swish board for dry interior rooms only. No laminate is a wet area floor. Talk to us before you plan one for a bathroom or laundry.
The AC rating measures how the surface stands up to abrasion. AC3 is the standard residential grade. AC4 is light commercial, which covers a busy hallway or a rental with room to spare.
AC5 is heavy commercial, the level specified for retail floors. Every Aquastop board is AC5, and so are AquaGlow and NuCore Extreme. Oakleaf HD Plus, Oakleaf 12mm, MTF, Hydrocore, Swish and NuCore Excellence are AC4. The 8mm Oakleaf board is AC3.
A thicker board flexes less, sounds less hollow underfoot and copes better with a subfloor that is slightly out of level. Our 8mm boards are Oakleaf, Oakleaf HD Plus, Aquastop and Hydrocore. Most of the range is 12mm. Swish Aqua is 12.3mm, and the 14mm Aquastop is our thickest.
Board length matters as much as thickness. Longer boards mean fewer end joins across a room. NuCore Excellence runs 2250mm. Oakleaf HD Plus 12mm, Oakleaf 12mm, Swish Aqua and NuCore Extreme run 2200mm. The 14mm Aquastop is 2025mm long and 244mm wide, our widest laminate. Swish goes the other way at 1518 x 236mm, which keeps the pattern tight in rooms broken up by doorways.
Warranty length differs a lot between ranges. The standard Oakleaf range carries a lifetime structural warranty. Aquastop has 35 years limited structural and 5 years commercial. NuCore Extreme has 30 years on the domestic surface, and Oakleaf HD Plus 25 years structural with 20 years on the finish.
Oakleaf and Oakleaf HD Plus suit in-slab hydronic heating only, not electric heating mats. Aquastop is also rated for in-slab hydronic heating. Oakleaf HD Plus is P3 for slip under AS 4586 and GOLD Greenguard certified for low emissions.
You can have us supply and install, buy supply only and lay it yourself, or bring your own installer and we stay on hand to help through the job. For an install we measure, check the subfloor and give you a written quote before anything is booked. Laminate floats over underlay on its click joint, with no glue or nails, so the subfloor has to be flat. We supply and install flooring within Sydney only. Can laminate go in a kitchen?
Yes, if you choose a board with a long water rating and wipe spills up when you see them. AquaGlow, Hydrocore and the 14mm Aquastop give the most time at 72 hours.

How do I clean it?
Vacuum, then a damp mop. Aquastop is rated safe to wet mop. Keep steam mops off laminate. More in our flooring cleaning guide.

HTT Flooring
A 12mm laminate rated AC4 for light commercial traffic and 24 hour water resistant. The thickness gives less flex and less hollow sound underfoot. Boards are 1216mm x 190mm with a four-sided micro bevel, a short edge drop lock and a long edge click.

Preference Floors

A 12mm floating laminate on a shorter, wider 1518 x 236mm board that keeps the pattern repeat tight in broken-up rooms. The matt surface is embossed in register with the printed grain. It is rated AC4 for abrasion and specified for dry interior areas. A 25 year warranty applies to private use.

Preference Floors
The 8mm build of HD Plus on 1215mm x 195mm planks, with the same print, AC4 rating and super matte coating as the 12mm. Its 48 hour water-resistant system combines a T Seam tight lock click, treated bevel edges and a tested core. It suits bedrooms, units and rental refreshes. Warranty is 25 years structural.

We offer free delivery on orders of $50 and up to all major metropolitan areas across Australia, including all state and territory capitals for Rugs only. Some exclusions may apply if your postcode is excluded one of our team members will contact you and will discuss delivery options.
If you live outside our free delivery zone, we advise you to contact us through the chat function on our website or by emailing us info@adorerugs.com.au and we can provide a quote/ arrange alternative delivery options for you.

While delivery times vary depending on your location, we find standard delivery to major metropolitan areas usually occur within 3-7 business days once the payment has been processed. Rural areas can (but not always) take longer depending on where you live but do usually arrive within 5-10 business days.
We also offer Express Delivery to Sydney Metropolitan areas and it usually takes 1-3 Business Days, this service is free on orders of $500 and over and costs $30 on orders of $500 and below . Please note this service is for online orders only and it is not yet available for areas other than Sydney Metropolitan.
It’s also important to keep in mind some couriers have postcode exclusions. If you find this is to be the case please contact us and we can look to arrange another method for delivery to you.
All items will be delivered during business hours. Usually, we request the courier to call prior delivery, but we can't guarantee on behalf of courier.
Click and Collect and Pick Up from our local store is available at111 Station Rd Auburn NSW. Please allow 24 hours processing time. You will be notified when your order is ready for pick up via email/sms.
By default couriers have "Authority to leave" which means if the address is correct and the courier deems your porch a safe place to place your rug they will do so.
If you don't want this option and have any special delivery instructions such as 'signature on delivery' or if you'd like the couriers to put your package in a different safe spot you can request it by writing on the "delivery instructions" on checkout or emailing us at info@adorerugs.com.au and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

If you have purchased an item online you are eligible for a return for up to 21 days after the date of purchase. You will not be eligible for a return if it passes 21 days.
You will be responsible for paying shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is dirty or damaged we will not issue a refund.
To complete your return, please email info@adorerugs.com.au and in the subject line please write "Return + Order number" and give a detailed reason for the returning item, include photos if possible.
We reply within 2 hours during business hours with further instructions for the return process.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 21 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Exchange (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@adorerugs.com.au
We do not offer refunds on change of mind purchases when shopping in store. You are, however, eligible to exchange your rug within 48 hours of purchase.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is dirty or damaged we will not accept an exchange.
If you request any alterations such as overlocking or requesting a custom size the customised rugs become non refundable this is applicable to both in store and online purchases.
