Mystic Oak - 8mm Oakleaf Laminate Flooring

Mystic Oak is the grey of the Preference Floors Oakleaf range: a mid cool grey with just enough brown underneath to stop it reading blue, and a weathered grain that gives the surface something to do. It is the board to choose if you want an unmistakably grey floor that still looks like timber, and it pairs cleanly with white walls, black tapware and cool-toned stone. Spotted Gum is the warm alternative if this feels too cool for the room.

The substance of Oakleaf is in the board itself. The core is FSC certified HDF, so the fibre is traceable to responsibly managed forests, and it comes with a lifetime structural warranty on the board for as long as you own the floor. Neither is common at this price. The click system is licensed from Flooring Industries and installs floating with no adhesive; the range is fire and slip test certified to Australian requirements.

This is the 8mm AC3 board at 1215mm x 195mm, 1.895m² per pack. AC3 is the standard residential wear rating and suits bedrooms, living areas and ordinary domestic traffic. For a busy hallway or a rental, ask about the 12mm AC4 board at 2200mm long. Either way, suitable over in-slab hydronic heating only, not electric underfloor heating.
