Engineered timber flooring installation Sydney

Engineered timber flooring, supplied and installed across Sydney

Real timber underfoot, laid by people who do it for a living. The measure and the written quote are free, and you get your price on the day, not a number that turns up next week. We take on four flooring installs a week, no more, which is how every floor gets the same installer and the same standard.

Timber is the floor people regret rushing

It is the most expensive floor in most houses and the one that shows every shortcut: a cupped board, a bad join at a doorway, a skirting gap you notice every day for ten years. Which is why the question worth asking is who carries the job when something is not right.

Nearly everyone who lays floors in Sydney uses subcontractors. That is normal. What goes wrong is being handed a phone number and left to chase a tradesman you have never met.

  • We take full responsibility for the job. You bought the floor from us, so it is ours to make right. You never have to work out whose fault something is. You call us and we deal with it.
  • One main flooring installer. Not whoever is free that week. The same hands that laid the last hundred floors.
  • Four installs a week, deliberately. Timber is not a floor to rush, and a rushed install is where the money you spent on the boards gets wasted.
  • You can see and feel it first. Full boards at the Auburn showroom, and we bring samples to the measure so you can look at them in your own light, which matters more with timber than with anything else we sell.

What our customers actually talk about

Four things come up again and again in our Google reviews. Being kept in the loop instead of having to chase. Speed, with floors bought one week and laid the next. Leaving the place clean, with the old floor and the rubbish taken away. And the price: reasonable, affordable, competitive to the max. Their words, not ours. Read them yourself:

“Nas was a legend from day one, super helpful, genuinely knew his stuff, and explained the pros/cons of hybrid vs other options in a way that made the decision easy. … Our stairs were a bit of a headache … but they came up with a clever, out-of-the-box solution that made all the difference. The finish looks unreal and suits our French provincial style perfectly.”

What happens after you hit send

  1. We call you. Within 2 hours during business hours (10am to 6pm, 7 days), to understand the job and find a time. Nobody turns up unannounced.
  2. We measure on site and bring timber samples so you can see the grain and the tone in your own rooms, in your own light. Photographs lie about timber. This is the part people are glad they did properly.
  3. You get your price before we leave. Supply and install, itemised, in writing. If it works for you, we can book your install date on the spot.

Takes about thirty seconds, and you don’t need to measure anything first. Rough is fine. That is what we come out for.

A rough guess is fine. We confirm the exact area at the measure.

Nothing is locked in. We bring samples from every range to the measure so you can compare them side by side.

This is the single thing that most changes a timber quote, so it helps to know before we come out.

We’ll only use your details to contact you about this quote. The measure costs nothing and there is no obligation to proceed.

Why booking early matters. Four flooring installs a week is a real limit, not a sales line. When the week is full, it is full. The measure is the thing that holds your place in the calendar, and it costs you nothing.

Planning to have it done before Christmas? Most trades stop from around the middle of December, so the measure needs to happen by the first week of December for a pre-Christmas install. After that we are booking into January.

Straight answers about timber

Engineered or solid: which should I get?

Engineered timber has a real timber surface over a layered core, which makes it far more stable than solid board when the humidity swings, and Sydney humidity swings. It can also go over a concrete slab, which solid generally cannot. For most Sydney homes engineered is the sensible choice, and we will tell you honestly if your situation is one of the exceptions.

Will it scratch?

Any timber floor will mark. That is true of every brand and every price point, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling. What varies is the wear layer and the finish, and that is exactly what separates our three ranges. Bring us the dog, the kids and the dining chairs and we will point you at the right one rather than the dearest one.

Can it be sanded and recoated later?

Some engineered floors can, some cannot. It depends on how thick the real timber layer is. We will show you which of our ranges can be refinished and which are a replace-later floor, before you choose.

Will I get a price on the day?

Yes. We measure, price it and put it in writing before we leave. If you’re happy with it we book your install date there and then. That is the part worth doing on the day: we only run four flooring installs a week, and the calendar fills in the order people book.

Who actually lays the floor?

One main flooring installer does our hard-flooring work. He is a subcontractor, as is standard in this trade, but the job is ours. We take full responsibility for it, and if anything needs fixing you call us.
