Bedrock - 8mm Oakleaf HD Plus Laminate Flooring

Bedrock on the 8mm Oakleaf HD Plus board: the same rich mid-dark warm brown as the 12mm version, with real depth in the grain and strong tonal movement from plank to plank. The decor is identical; the difference is the board beneath it.

At 1215mm x 195mm the 8mm plank is shorter than the 12mm's 2200mm x 196mm, so a room takes more end joins. On a colour with this much grain movement that matters less than it does on a pale, even board: the variation does a good deal to disguise the joins: which makes Bedrock one of the colours that translates best to the shorter plank. Everything above the board is unchanged: the same high definition digital print, AC4 wear rating, super matte coating, and the same 48 hour water-resistant system, built as three parts rather than a claim: a T Seam tight lock click profile, moisture-protection treated bevel edges, and an independently tested water-resistant core.

The warranty is the same as the thicker board too: 25 years limited structural and 20 years on the finish, with GOLD Greenguard certification for low chemical emissions. P3 slip under AS 4586, micro bevel on four sides, floating click installation with no adhesive.

The 8mm is the choice when budget leads and the rooms are smaller; the 12mm earns its premium across a large open-plan floor. Both are suitable over in-slab hydronic heating only, not electric underfloor heating. Supply and install available across Sydney.
