More about this range

Hydrocore is the value laminate in HTT Flooring's range, and it keeps the specification that matters most: a 72 hour waterproof rating. A spill has three days before it can swell a board, which is what makes laminate genuinely usable in a kitchen rather than merely tolerated there.

Nine colours on a 1510 x 195mm board at 8mm. Boxes hold 8 pieces covering 2.3556m2 at 17kg. AC4 light commercial rating, E0 environmental grade, micro bevel edges and a click profile.

Where it gives ground to the 12mm ranges is underfoot. A thinner board flexes more, sounds more hollow when you walk on it, and is less forgiving over a subfloor that is not level. If the floor is going into a rental, a bedroom or an investment property, that trade is usually worth making and the saving is real. For a whole house you will feel every day, the 12mm AquaGlow or MTF boards are the better buy.
