PRODUCT INFORMATION
PRODUCT INFORMATION

Fortune Cookie is a light warm sandy blonde: a soft biscuit-toned oak with fine, straight, even grain and very little variation between boards. It is the calmest of the warm boards in the Hydrocore range, where Ginger Ale is more golden and more heavily figured.

Light warm floors have come back strongly after a decade of grey dominance, and they are more practical than they look. The warm cast and visible grain disguise dust and light debris better than a flat pale board, and the brightness does real work in a smaller room or a space with one window. It also pairs easily: white walls, timber furniture, black fixtures and rattan all sit comfortably against it.

If you are choosing between this and Ginger Ale, the difference is real but subtle: Fortune Cookie is slightly paler and much more uniform, Ginger Ale a touch deeper with pronounced cathedral grain and visible knots. Fortune Cookie is the one to pick if you want the floor to stay quiet.

Rated 72 hour waterproof, giving a spill three days before it can swell a board. At 8mm on 1510 x 195mm boards, Hydrocore is our value laminate: AC4 light commercial rating, E0 environmental grade. Supply and install available across Sydney.
