PRODUCT INFORMATION
PRODUCT INFORMATION

Aspen is the neutral of the Preference Floors Oakleaf range: a light warm greige-tan with soft grain movement and moderate variation from plank to plank. It sits almost exactly between the warm golden colours and the cool greys here, which is what makes it such a safe specification: it works against white, cream or grey walls, and it will not fight a kitchen you have not chosen yet. On the same 12mm board, Ivory is a step warmer with visible knots and Maritime a step cooler and quieter.

The reason to choose Oakleaf 12mm over a cheaper laminate is what backs the board rather than what is printed on it. The core is FSC certified HDF, so the fibre is traceable to responsibly managed forests, and it carries a lifetime structural warranty. The board is covered for as long as you own the floor. That warranty is the strongest in our laminate range and it is the reason to put this alongside, rather than below, the premium options. The click system is licensed from Flooring Industries, so it installs floating with no adhesive, and the range is fire and slip test certified to Australian requirements.

This is the 12mm AC4 board at 2200mm x 193mm, 1.698m² per pack. AC4 is a step above the standard residential rating and suits hallways, family homes and rental properties as comfortably as bedrooms and living rooms, and the 2.2 metre plank means far fewer end joins across an open-plan floor than a standard 1200mm board gives you.

One limitation worth being clear about: suitable over in-slab hydronic heating only, not electric underfloor heating mats. Supply and install available across Sydney. Get in touch for a measure and quote.
