Nomad - 12mm NuCore Excellence AC4 Laminate Flooring

Nomad is the palest board in the NuCore Excellence range: a soft sandy oak with a light, washed finish and gentle grain movement. It's the choice for making a room feel larger and brighter, which is why it works so well in apartments, north-facing rooms and open-plan spaces where you want the floor to recede rather than dominate.

Pale floors have a reputation for showing everything. In practice, a light board with visible grain like this hides dust and pet hair considerably better than a flat dark floor. The variation in the print breaks up the surface and marks don't stand out the way they do on a uniform tone.

At 12mm it's noticeably more solid underfoot than the 8mm laminates you'll be quoted elsewhere: less flex, less acoustic hollowness, and more forgiveness over a subfloor that isn't perfectly flat. AC4 rated for light commercial traffic, with registered embossing aligning the texture to the grain. Drop lock installation, aluminium oxide wear layer, 25 year domestic surface warranty. Supply and install available across Sydney.
