Light Grey Concrete is a pale off-white concrete design: smooth, near-uniform and almost free of pattern, with only the faintest cloudiness to suggest a poured surface. It is the lightest and quietest tile in the Alpine Artisan range.
Minimal concrete floors do a specific job: they make a space read as larger and calmer, and they let everything else in the room, joinery, artwork, product, furniture, carry the visual weight. That is why they turn up so often in galleries, showrooms, clinics and minimalist interiors. In a home it suits open-plan living and anywhere you want an industrial look without the cold and the cracking of real concrete.
Be realistic about upkeep. A pale, low-contrast floor hides scuffs and marks well but shows fine dust and grit sooner than a textured design would. In a high-traffic entry, Cool Gravel or Warm Concrete Grey will look presentable for longer between cleans.
The specification is commercial grade: class 33 heavy commercial, class 42 moderate industrial, R10 slip under both AS 4586 and DIN 51130, with a 0.55mm wear layer. Supplied as 600 x 600mm tiles at 3mm thick. Supply and install available across Sydney.
