Bright - 12mm Aquastop Laminate Flooring

Bright is the palest board Aquastop makes, a near white limed oak with the faintest cream warmth and very soft grain. On screen it can look flat; in a room the grain reads more clearly than the photograph suggests.

A floor this pale makes a room feel larger and takes almost no light from it, which is why it gets used in small apartments and south-facing rooms. The trade is that dust, hair and dark grit show sooner than on a mid tone. In a house with a shedding dog, think carefully.

Aquastop is Preference Floors' water resistant laminate, made by the Swiss Krono Group. This is the 12mm board, 1380 x 193 x 12mm, covering 1.332m2 per carton. It is rated AC5 for abrasion, which is a step above the AC4 laminate common at this price, and the core is engineered to hold out topical spills for 48 hours. Warranty runs 35 years limited structural and 5 years limited commercial.

Laminate is not a wet area floor. Supply and install across Sydney, supply only if you are laying it yourself, or supply with support for your own installer.
