Rugs Sydney
Looking for rugs in Sydney? Adore Rugs is a family-run rug and flooring business with two showrooms across the Sydney metro area, hundreds of verified five-star Google reviews, and a hand-picked range of designer, modern, traditional, washable, and outdoor rugs. Whether you're after a statement designer piece for a renovation or a practical washable rug for a busy household, you'll find it here at the showroom, online, or both.
Our Auburn showroom on Station Road is open seven days. Our Lansvale showroom on the Hume Highway is open Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays. Walk in, lay rugs out flat, feel the difference between thick wool, plush shaggy, and flat-weave construction, and get advice from staff who've been selling rugs in Sydney for years.
Why Sydney Shoppers Choose Adore Rugs
Sydney has plenty of rug retailers. Most are online-only, or they're showrooms with limited stock you can't actually walk through. Adore is different in three specific ways.
Two physical showrooms across Sydney
Buying a rug from photos alone is risky. Pile height, weight, the way colour shifts in afternoon light, the feel underfoot. None of it photographs accurately. Both our Auburn and Lansvale showrooms display over 1,000 rugs at any time, with floor markers showing common sizes (160x230, 200x290, 240x340) so you can see exactly what fits your room before you commit.
Curated by a team that knows rugs
Every rug in our range is hand-picked by our team. We don't just stock whatever the wholesalers push. Our buyers focus on what works in Australian homes: which colours suit Sydney light, which constructions hold up to dogs and kids, which patterns won't date in two years. That's why our collection includes the exclusive Pierre Cardin designer range alongside practical machine-washable rugs and proper plush shaggy options.
Free Sydney metro delivery and 21-day returns
Order online and we deliver free anywhere in Sydney metro on rug orders over $50. Express delivery available for 1 to 3 business day arrival. If the rug doesn't suit your space when it arrives, you have 21 days to return it. We also offer Click and Collect from our Auburn showroom with 24-hour processing. Order online, pick up the same day in many cases.
Our Sydney Rug Range
Browse by what matters most to you: style, size, colour, or room. A few of our most popular categories with Sydney shoppers:
Designer Rugs
Our Pierre Cardin collection is the centrepiece of our designer range. Paris, Orsay, Vendome, Villette, and Opera collections in sizes from 120x170 up to 300x400. These are the rugs you'll see styled in high-end Sydney homes and feature spreads. We carry exclusive colourways you won't find at most retailers.
Machine Washable Rugs
The Peri 100 and Peri 110 ranges are designed for real Australian homes: kitchens, dining rooms, kids' rooms, and homes with pets. Throw them in a domestic washing machine and they come out fresh. Available in beige, grey, graphite, pink, black, and Moroccan-style patterns.
Plush and Shaggy Rugs
Heaven 800 and Paradise 400 are our two most-loved plush ranges. The Heaven 800 has a 35mm pile that genuinely feels different underfoot. Sydney customers regularly tell us they wish they'd bought one years ago. Available in ivory, beige, taupe, silver grey, and powder pink.
Traditional and Transitional Rugs
From classic Turkish medallion designs to faded vintage-look transitional pieces. The Pacino and Medellin ranges are particularly popular for character homes, federation properties, and modern interiors that want a softer, lived-in feel.
Kids and Nursery Rugs
Amigo, Happy, and Freestyle ranges with everything from pandas, unicorns, and rocket ships to gentle pastel patterns. Mostly machine-washable or low-maintenance, because kids' rooms see a lot of action.
Outdoor and Indoor-Outdoor Rugs
Flat-weave outdoor rugs designed to stand up to Sydney summers, balconies, alfresco areas, and high-traffic kitchens. Easy to clean, UV resistant, and durable enough for the harsher conditions outdoor furniture has to deal with.
Sydney Suburbs We Serve
Customers visit our showrooms from across the Sydney metro area. Auburn is convenient if you're coming from Western Sydney or the Inner West. Lansvale is the easier option if you're closer to South-Western Sydney. Common origin suburbs include:
Auburn, Lidcombe, Granville, Parramatta, Strathfield, Homebush, Silverwater, Berala, Regents Park, Rookwood, Cabramatta, Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstown, Canley Vale, Canley Heights, Villawood, Chipping Norton, Warwick Farm, Yagoona, Bass Hill, Padstow, Sefton, Chester Hill, and across the rest of Sydney metro.
Online orders ship free to any Sydney metro address on orders over $50, with express delivery available for 1 to 3 business day arrival across the entire metropolitan area.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I get a rug delivered in Sydney?
Express Delivery to Sydney metropolitan areas takes 1 to 3 business days. It's free on orders of $500 and over, and $30 on orders under $500. Standard FREE delivery to Sydney metro typically arrives within 3 to 7 business days. Same-day collection is available from our Auburn store via Click and Collect with 24-hour processing.
Do you have a Sydney showroom I can visit?
Yes, two of them. Our Auburn showroom (111 Station Road) is open seven days. Our Lansvale showroom (169-173 Hume Highway) is open Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays. Both display our full rug range plus flooring samples. No appointment needed.
What's your return policy on rugs?
21-day returns on rugs ordered online. Return shipping is paid by the customer, but we make the process straightforward. For in-store purchases, exchanges within 48 hours are accepted provided the rug is in original, unused condition.
Do you stock designer rugs in Sydney?
Yes. Our Pierre Cardin collection is one of our biggest ranges: Paris, Orsay, Vendome, Villette, and Opera designs across multiple sizes and colourways. Many sizes are exclusively held at our Sydney showrooms and not commonly found at other Australian retailers.
Can I see a rug in person before buying?
Absolutely, that's why we have showrooms. Both Auburn and Lansvale display over 1,000 rugs, with the most popular ranges laid out flat so you can walk on them, compare them, and see them in proper light. Bring a photo of your room, or even a fabric swatch from your couch. Our team does this every day.
Do you offer flooring as well as rugs in Sydney?
Yes. We sell hybrid, laminate, engineered timber, and vinyl flooring across both showrooms. Free in-home measure and quote available for the Sydney metro area. Most customers come for rugs and end up replacing a floor too. We make that an easy conversation, not a sales pitch.
Do you offer AfterPay or other payment plans?
Yes. AfterPay is available both online and in-store on eligible orders. We also accept all major cards, PayPal, and bank transfer.
