Swish Oak Natura Engineered Oak Flooring
Swish Oak Natura is Eco Flooring Systems' engineered oak range, and it is real timber rather than a printed decor. Each board is 14mm thick with a 3mm sawn oak wear veneer over a stable core, sized 190 x 1900mm with micro-bevelled edges. Twenty-five decors in all, including six laid as herringbone and three in the hand-worked Handcrafted finish.
Because the surface is genuine oak, the floor can be sanded and recoated over the years instead of replaced. A 3mm veneer supports fewer resurfacing cycles than a 4mm one, so if you expect to refinish more than once, look at Swish Oak Wideboard instead.
The Tongue and Groove profile gives you a choice that changes both the feel and the price. Glued down, the floor is solid and quiet underfoot. Floated over underlay, it goes in faster and lifts more easily later. We will talk you through which suits your subfloor.
Every board meets E1 low-emission requirements with VOC measured below 5ppm. One thing to expect rather than be surprised by: boards vary in colour and grain, and the floor shifts subtly with light over the years, so a rug left in one spot for a decade leaves its mark. That is what oak does, and it is why a sample in your own room beats any photograph. Packs cover 2.90m2 across 8 boards.
