Pine Mist - Alpine Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

Pine Mist is a soft washed grey with only a faint warm undertone: the greyest board in the Alpine plank range, and the one that sits most comfortably in a contemporary or minimalist interior where the floor should recede beneath the furniture.

Grey floors are unusually easy to furnish around, because almost nothing clashes with a soft neutral grey. They also lift a room short on natural light where a darker board would absorb it. The honest trade-off is that pale, low-contrast floors hide scuffs and marks well but show fine dust in the days after cleaning sooner than a strongly grained mid-tone would.

Against its neighbours: Silver Ash is distinctly cooler and more blue-grey, Argent noticeably warmer and more oatmeal. Pine Mist is the middle of the three and the safest if you are unsure.

At 3mm, luxury vinyl adds almost nothing to floor height, which matters in renovations where door clearances and thresholds are already set, and it is softer, quieter and warmer underfoot than a rigid core board. The 0.55mm wear layer is what determines how the floor looks after years rather than months, with a PU and nano silver surface treatment for scuff and stain resistance. Also available in the wider 5mm format. Supply and install available across Sydney.
