Silver Ash - Alpine Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

Silver Ash is the coolest board in the Alpine range: a pale blue-grey with pronounced white striation running through the grain, closer to limed or bleached timber than to any natural oak tone. It is the most decisive of the pale planks and the one that most obviously reads as a design choice.

It belongs in contemporary and coastal interiors: white or off-white walls, pale joinery, black or chrome fixtures, and cool-toned furniture. Against warm timber furniture or brass it can look genuinely cold, so it is worth settling the rest of the room before committing to it. Where it excels is brightness. No board here does more to open up a dim space.

The white striation is also practical. Unlike a flat pale board, the contrast in the grain breaks up the surface and stops fine dust reading as obviously as it would on a uniform tone.

At 3mm, luxury vinyl lays over an existing floor without raising the level enough to force trimmed doors or rebuilt thresholds, and it is softer, quieter and warmer underfoot than rigid core products. The 0.55mm wear layer sits at the upper end for luxury vinyl, with a PU and nano silver surface treatment. Also available in the wider 5mm format. Supply and install available across Sydney.
