Doeskin 7.5mm Easi-Plank Hybrid Flooring

Easi-Plank Doeskin is the palest board in the range, a soft warm cream with fine straight grain and almost no colour difference from one plank to the next. It is warmer than Porcelain and Urban Grey, which both carry grey, and paler than Linen, which leans golden.

A floor this light opens up a narrow hallway or a dim apartment living room, and it sits well with white and off-white walls, pale oak joinery and linen or boucle fabrics. It will show dark dirt, coffee drips and dark pet hair sooner than any other colour here, so it suits a household that sweeps often. Under cool white downlights it can look flat; a warm white globe keeps the cream in it.

Easi-Plank is stone polymer composite, 7.5mm thick including 1.5mm of IXPE acoustic underlay bonded to the back, with a 0.5mm wear layer under a water-based matte. The rigid core is what lets it go over sound existing tiles with little telegraphing of the grout lines, and it floats on a Unilin click with a V4 micro bevel. Boards are 1520mm long and 228mm wide, five to a 1.733m2 carton.

It tested P4 on the wet pendulum slip test to AS 4586:2013 and AAAC 5 Star for impact noise at L'nTw 42 dB. The core holds no respirable crystalline silica. It is water resistant for interior rooms rather than waterproof, rated for in-slab hydronic heating only, and covered for 25 years structural and 20 years wear in a home.
