Cedar - Alpine Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

Cedar is a warm tan-gold plank: a mid-light honeyed board with smooth, even grain and a consistent tone from plank to plank. It is the quieter of Alpine's warm timber looks, where Chestnut is deeper and redder and Maple is brighter and more golden.

Warm mid-light floors are the least regretted choice in flooring. Dark enough to hide scuffs and light debris, light enough not to shrink a room, and neutral enough to sit comfortably with whatever furniture arrives over the next decade. In a room with one window or limited direct sun, the warm cast does real work that a grey board cannot.

The practical argument for luxury vinyl is height and comfort. At 3mm it lays over an existing floor without raising the level enough to force trimmed doors or rebuilt thresholds: a recurring headache with 8 to 9mm hybrid and timber in renovations. It is also softer and quieter underfoot than a rigid core board, and noticeably warmer in winter.

The 0.55mm wear layer sits at the upper end for luxury vinyl and is what decides how the floor looks after years rather than months. PU and nano silver surface treatment for scuff and stain resistance. Available in the 3mm plank and the wider 5mm format. Supply and install available across Sydney.
