Brushbox - 12mm MTF Laminate Flooring

Brushbox is the warmest board in the MTF range: a rich red-brown with the deep, glowing tone that makes Australian brushbox so recognisable. Where oak designs play it safe, this one has genuine character, and it suits period homes, Federation cottages and rooms with timber joinery far better than a cool grey ever will.

Brushbox is a traditional Australian hardwood, and the real thing is expensive, needs sanding and recoating over its life, and will cup if water sits on it. This laminate gives you the look without any of that, with an aluminium oxide wear layer that handles pets, chairs and daily traffic.

The 12mm thickness matters more than people expect, noticeably more solid underfoot than the 8mm boards that dominate the budget end, with less flex, less hollow sound, and more forgiveness over an uneven subfloor. AC4 rated for light commercial traffic, 24 hour water resistant, with a four-sided micro bevel that defines each board. Short edge drop lock and long edge click for a fast, tight install. Supply and install available across Sydney.
