Coastal Ivory - 12mm MTF Laminate Flooring

Coastal Ivory is worth looking at properly before you decide, because the name undersells how much colour it carries. This is not a pale ivory board. It is a warm mid-tan with a greyed, weathered cast, fine sawn texture running vertically through the grain and scattered knots that give it a reclaimed, beach-house character.

That makes it a genuinely useful floor. Mid-tones are the most forgiving you can own: dark enough to hide scuffs and light debris, light enough not to shrink a room or show every speck of dust. The sawn texture adds another layer of forgiveness, breaking up the surface so everyday marks never register the way they would on a flat, uniform board.

It suits relaxed coastal and Hamptons interiors, rooms with white or linen-toned walls, and anywhere you want warmth without committing to a dark floor. If you are after something genuinely pale, Driftwood or Washed Oak are the boards to compare it against.

The 12mm construction is what separates this from the 8mm laminates at the budget end: less flex underfoot, less hollow sound when you walk on it, and better tolerance of a subfloor that is not perfectly level. AC4 rated for light commercial traffic, 24 hour water resistant, with a four-sided micro bevel so each board reads as a separate plank. Short edge drop lock and long edge click for a fast, tight install. Supply and install available across Sydney.
