Product information

Weathered Blackbutt is a light to mid honey blackbutt with dark gum vein flecks along the grain. It is the lightest of the three blackbutt looks in Tranquility, paler than Village Blackbutt. Tranquility comes from NFD and sits with our other vinyl flooring.

Tranquility is a 5mm luxury vinyl plank, 1524mm long and 228mm wide, with a 0.5mm wear layer, a built in acoustic backing and fibreglass reinforcement. Six planks come in a box covering 2.09m2, so a 40m2 room needs 20 boxes before cutting allowance. It goes down on a flat, prepared subfloor, and we confirm the method at the measure.

NFD rates Tranquility P3 for slip, describes the surface as waterproof and lists it as FloorScore certified. In NFD's acoustic brochure the range reaches 6 stars (Ln,w 39) over a 200mm concrete slab with two layers of 13mm plasterboard below, and 5 stars (Ln,w 45) with one layer; NFD notes the results are a guide only. NFD lists a lifetime residential warranty, with its terms applying, and 15 years commercial.

We supply and install Tranquility across Sydney. You can also buy it supply only, or have your own installer lay it. Book a free measure and quote and we will check the subfloor at the same visit.

Returns

Online orders

If you have purchased an item online you are eligible for a return for up to 21 days after the date of purchase. You will not be eligible for a return if it passes 21 days.

You will be responsible for paying shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is dirty or damaged we will not issue a refund.

To complete your return, please email info@adorerugs.com.au and in the subject line please write "Return + Order number" and give a detailed reason for the returning item, include photos if possible.

We reply within 2 hours during business hours with further instructions for the return process.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 21 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Exchange (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@adorerugs.com.au

In store purchases

We do not offer refunds on change of mind purchases when shopping in store. You are, however, eligible to exchange your rug within 48 hours of purchase.


To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is dirty or damaged we will not accept an exchange.

Alterations and custom sizes

If you request any alterations such as overlocking or requesting a custom size the customised rugs become non refundable this is applicable to both in store and online purchases.
