Pierre Cardin - Louvre
Pierre Cardin Louvre rugs are abstract designs in 100% heat-set polypropylene frisee, power loomed with high filament yarn on a jute weft. Five rugs, 9mm in total height and about 2.5kg per square metre.
The designs
Louvre 501 Multi runs light blue, white and brown lines across a dark ground. Louvre 502 Blue sets blue and white against black. Louvre 503 comes in Silver and Platin, each with a darker centre. Louvre 504 Beige pairs beige with black.
Why frisee
Frisee is a tightly twisted yarn. It holds its shape under foot traffic and gives the surface a soft, slightly textured feel rather than a flat print. Polypropylene also cleans easily, so these rugs suit a living or dining room that gets used every day.
Sizes
