Cream - 7.5mm Grande Hybrid Flooring

Grande Cream is softer and greyer than the name suggests: a pale putty beige with a faint cool cast and almost no grain contrast, closer to a limed or chalk-washed board than a warm cream. It is the quietest floor in the Grande range and the one that does most to open up a room.

Very low contrast floors like this suit minimalist and Scandinavian interiors, and they make small rooms feel larger because there is no pattern for the eye to measure the space against. Against white walls it reads almost seamless; against warm timber furniture it can look slightly cool, so it is worth considering the rest of the room before committing.

Underneath is the Grande 7.5mm SPC hybrid platform, and the specification is unusually complete for the price. The 1.5mm IXPE acoustic underlay is already attached, so nothing separate is needed. The rigid core is waterproof throughout rather than surface-sealed, and the surface carries an anti-bacterial UV coating. It uses a licensed Unilin lock rather than a generic click, which holds a tighter joint through years of seasonal movement.

Wide 1500 x 230mm boards suit open-plan spaces, and low contrast across a wide board reads as calm rather than busy. A+ VOC rating, 25 year residential and 5 year commercial warranty. Supply and install available across Sydney.

The board is waterproof, but a click-together floor is not a waterproof assembly and is not a substitute for a waterproofing membrane. Bathrooms are excluded by most manufacturer warranties, and cover for laundries and powder rooms varies by range. Talk to us before specifying it for a wet area.
