Alabaster - 8.5mm Corsica 855 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Corsica 855 Alabaster is a pale warm cream-beige oak with soft grain and a scatter of small knots, the warm pale board in the range. It is not white; Dapple Grey and Grey Stone are the cool pales, and Alabaster is the one that sits with cream.

Warm pale oak is the coastal default. It bounces light around a south-facing room and pairs with white and cream walls, linen, rattan and pale timber. It shows dust sooner than a mid tone, and the knots give it enough character to avoid reading as a printed sheet.

Corsica 855 is 8.5mm thick: a 6.0mm rigid core, 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay already attached and a 0.5mm wear layer, on a 1420mm by 225mm board with a Valinge 5G click and micro-bevelled edges. The print carries 8 plank faces per repeat.

It rated 5 Star for acoustics and is 100 percent waterproof, with bathrooms and laundries permitted subject to local waterproofing rules. Terra Mater backs it for life structurally, 25 years on wear at home and 10 years commercially, including over hydronic heated slabs.
