Northern Spotted Gum - 9.7mm Summit 977 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Summit 977 Northern Spotted Gum is a mid to dark honey-brown with the wavy figure of the species and a wide spread from pale honey planks to deep orange-brown ones. It is the more varied of the two spotted gums in the range; Scented Spotted Gum is darker and browner.

Spotted gum tones suit warm and neutral walls, brass and black fittings and real timber joinery, and the variation hides wear well. Because the planks do vary, open several boxes and mix them as you lay, or the darkest boards will bunch.

The board is Summit 977, 9.7mm thick with a 7.0mm rigid core, 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay bonded to the back and a 0.7mm wear layer. Boards are 1820mm by 225mm, click on a Valinge 5G profile, and the decor runs 8 plank faces before it repeats.

It rated 6 Star on the AAAC acoustic scale, is 100 percent waterproof and is permitted in bathrooms and laundries subject to local waterproofing rules. Warranty is lifetime on the structure, 30 years wear in a home and 15 years wear in commercial use, including over hydronic heated slabs.
