Tan - 15/4mm Prestige Oak Engineered Timber Flooring

Tan is a light-to-mid golden oak with scattered knots, warmer and a shade deeper than Straw, with the same natural character but a little more colour in it.

It sits in the most useful part of the range. Light enough to keep a room open, warm enough to feel welcoming in a space that does not get much direct sun, and grained enough to disguise the dust and light debris that show on smoother pale boards. If you want a timber floor that will not date and will not need thinking about, Tan and Latte are the two to compare.

Against Latte it is noticeably lighter; against Straw it is warmer and more golden. All three work with the warm-white and natural-material palette most Australian homes use.

Prestige Oak is genuine European Oak with a 4mm wear layer over a 15mm engineered board: real timber, sandable and recoatable two or three times across its life. Laminate and hybrid cannot be refinished at all, which is the central argument for engineered timber. UV-cured European polyurethane, superior matte, limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years on the finish. Supply and install available across Sydney.

It is made in two profiles on the same 15/4mm board, tongue and groove and click. Pick the one your installer prefers at checkout. Tongue and groove can be direct stuck or floated; click is a floating install.

European Oak is a natural material. Variation between boards and between batches is expected and includes mineral streaks, black stain, medullary rays, knots, and slight surface checking and filling. This is the character of the timber, not a fault. We recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
