Castle Grey - 15/4mm Prestige Oak Engineered Timber Flooring

Castle Grey is a mid grey-brown with pronounced variation from board to board: some planks lean brown, others distinctly grey, and the wire-brushed surface catches light differently across the floor.

That variation is the point. A greyed timber floor with real tonal movement looks like aged oak rather than a stained modern board, which is why it suits both period homes and contemporary spaces that would feel cold with a flat grey. It also hides everyday wear far better than a uniform colour. There is simply too much going on for marks to register.

If you want grey without the brown, Storm and Iron Grey are cooler; Chateau Grey and Hex Grey are considerably paler.

Prestige Oak is genuine European Oak with a 4mm wear layer over a 15mm engineered board, deep enough to sand back and recoat two or three times over its life, which no laminate or hybrid can do. UV-cured European polyurethane in a superior matte finish, limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years on the finish. Supply and install available across Sydney.

European Oak is a natural material. Variation between boards and between batches is expected and includes mineral streaks, black stain, medullary rays, knots, and slight surface checking and filling. This is the character of the timber, not a fault. We recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
