Prestige Oak - Dark Brown - 15/4mm Engineered Timber Flooring

Dark Brown is a deep chocolate oak — rich and warm, with strong grain running visibly through the depth of colour rather than disappearing into it.

Dark timber floors are a commitment worth being clear about. In a room with generous light, against white walls and pale joinery, this grounds a space and makes it look finished in a way no mid-tone manages. In a small or south-facing room it will absorb the light there is. It also shows dust sooner than a mid-tone, so it suits a household that vacuums regularly more than one with a shedding dog.

Within the darker end of the range: Espresso is much lighter than its name suggests, Liquorice is a mid grey-brown, and Ebony is the genuinely near-black option. Dark Brown is the warm true-chocolate choice.

Prestige Oak is genuine European Oak with a 4mm wear layer over a 15mm engineered board — sandable and recoatable two or three times over its life, which laminate and hybrid never are. UV-cured European polyurethane, superior matte, limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years on the finish. Supply and install available across Sydney.

European Oak is a natural material. Variation between boards and between batches is expected and includes mineral streaks, black stain, medullary rays, knots, and slight surface checking and filling. This is the character of the timber, not a fault. We recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
