Montreux - Aquastop Laminate Flooring

Montreux is the deepest brown in the Aquastop range: a smooth mid-dark oak with warm undertones and restrained grain, closer to walnut than to any pale European oak.

Dark floors are a commitment worth being honest about. In an open-plan room with generous windows, or against white walls and pale joinery, Montreux grounds the space and makes it look finished in a way no mid-tone manages. In a small or south-facing room it will absorb what light there is and close things in. It also shows dust more readily than a mid-tone, so it rewards a household that vacuums regularly more than one with a shedding dog.

Where it earns its place is contrast. Against light stone benchtops, a white kitchen or a pale rug it looks genuinely expensive.

Aquastop is AC5 rated for abrasion, scratch and impact, a step above the AC4 laminates common at this price, with 48 hour water protection at 8mm and 12mm and 72 hours at 14mm. Colourfast and anti-static on an HDF core, patented Välinge 5G click, rated for in-slab hydronic heating and safe to wet mop. Supply and install available across Sydney.
