Pearl Shell - 7.5mm Iconic WPC Hybrid Flooring

Iconic Pearl Shell is a pale greige with clearly visible grain and a fair spread between boards, one of them a warmer sandy plank that lifts the rest. It sits on the cool side of neutral, paler than Flagstone and with more texture than Tumble Stone.

This is the pale board for a room that will take some punishment. The grain and the plank-to-plank movement absorb marks that would show on a smooth pale floor, so it suits a hallway or a family room better than Crystal does, at the cost of looking a little busier.

Open a few cartons at once when you lay it and mix boards between them, so the warmer plank in the mix is spread across the room rather than clustered in one corner.

The plank is 1520 x 228 x 7.5mm with a water-based PU matte finish and a V4 micro bevel, 2.080m2 to a carton. Underneath is a wood plastic composite core with 1.5mm of acoustic underlay bonded on, which is how the floor reaches AAAC 6 Star for impact noise without any separate underlay. It is rated for in-slab hydronic heating only, and a home installation is covered for 25 years on structure and 20 on wear.
