Granola - 8.5mm Corsica 855 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Corsica 855 Granola is a light to mid warm honey-tan oak with soft grain and gentle variation, the golden mid-tone of the range. It sits between Alabaster, which is paler and creamier, and Coastal Blackbutt, which is peachier.

Honey oak is a forgiving floor. It hides dust and footprints better than the pale boards, sits with cream, white and stone walls and with timber joinery, and it warms a room that gets no direct sun. Under western light it pushes towards gold, so look at a board in that room before deciding.

The board is 8.5mm thick: a 6.0mm rigid core, 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay bonded to the back and a 0.5mm wear layer, on a 1420mm by 225mm plank with a Valinge 5G click, micro-bevelled edges and 8 plank faces per repeat.

It rated 5 Star for acoustics and is 100 percent waterproof, so wet rooms are permitted subject to waterproofing codes. Warranty is lifetime on the structure, 25 years wear at home and 10 years wear in commercial use, including over hydronic heated slabs.
