Pewter - 8.5mm Corsica 855 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Corsica 855 Pewter is a light to mid cool grey oak with visible knots and grain, deeper than Grey Stone and Dapple Grey and with more character than either. The name is close: a soft, slightly warm metal grey rather than a flat one.

Mid grey with knots hides dust and scuffs better than the pale greys and suits contemporary rooms with white walls, black fittings and grey or pale timber joinery. Against warm cream walls it can look dull, so keep the palette cool or white.

Corsica 855 is 8.5mm thick: a 6.0mm rigid core, 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay already bonded on and a 0.5mm wear layer, in 1420mm by 225mm boards on a Valinge 5G click with micro-bevelled edges. Eight different plank faces make up the print before it repeats.

It rated 5 Star for acoustics and is 100 percent waterproof, with bathrooms and laundries allowed subject to local waterproofing rules. Terra Mater's warranty is lifetime on the structure, 25 years wear at home and 10 years wear in commercial use, including over hydronic heated slabs.
