Coastal Blackbutt - 9.7mm Summit 977 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Summit 977 Coastal Blackbutt is a light to mid golden tan with a peach cast and straight, fine grain, and it runs warmer and more orange than blackbutt lays as a solid timber. Real blackbutt is pale gold with an olive edge; this is closer to a warm honey oak. New England Blackbutt in the same range is pinker and more muted.

Warm golden floors lift rooms that get no direct sun and pair with cream, warm white and stone walls, timber joinery and brass or black fittings. Under western light the peach will push towards orange, so look at a board in that room through an afternoon.

Summit 977 is the premium ResiPlank board: 9.7mm thick with a 7.0mm rigid core, 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay already attached and a 0.7mm wear layer. Boards are 1820mm long and 225mm wide, click together on a Valinge 5G profile and carry 8 plank faces per design repeat.

It rated 6 Star on the AAAC acoustic scale and is 100 percent waterproof, with bathrooms and laundries allowed subject to waterproofing codes. The warranty runs lifetime on the structure, 30 years wear residential and 15 years wear commercial, and hydronic underfloor heating is covered.
