Driftwood - 9.7mm Summit 977 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Summit 977 Driftwood is a light to mid greige, a grey oak with a clear brown undertone and soft grain, the board that sits between Iron Grey and Sepia. It reads grey next to a warm floor and brown next to a cool one, which is what makes greige useful.

Greige suits open-plan rooms where grey joinery and oak furniture share the space, and it hides dust better than either the palest or the darkest boards. Under cool LEDs it reads greyer; under warm globes the brown comes forward.

The board is 9.7mm thick: a 7.0mm rigid core, 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay bonded on and a 0.7mm wear layer, on a 1820mm by 225mm plank with a Valinge 5G click and 8 faces per design repeat. Longer, wider boards mean fewer joins across a room.

Acoustic rating is 6 Star on the AAAC scale, the highest in the ResiPlank family, and the board is 100 percent waterproof, with wet rooms permitted subject to local waterproofing rules. Warranty is lifetime structural, 30 years residential wear and 15 years commercial wear, and it extends to hydronic heated slabs.
