Iron Grey - 9.7mm Summit 977 SPC Hybrid Flooring

Summit 977 Iron Grey, Terra Mater code 7125, is a light to mid cool grey oak, smooth, with the grain picked out in a paler limed grey and little variation between planks. It is the one true grey in the Summit range; Driftwood beside it has brown in it.

Cool grey floors suit contemporary rooms with white walls, black fittings and grey or timber joinery, and they keep afternoon sun from turning a room yellow. Against warm cream walls the grey goes flat, so keep the palette cool.

Summit 977 is Terra Mater's heaviest ResiPlank board: 9.7mm in total, a 7.0mm rigid core with 2mm of EVA acoustic underlay already bonded on, under a 0.7mm wear layer. Boards are 1820mm long and 225mm wide and click together on a Valinge 5G profile. The decor runs an 8 plank repeat, so the same board face comes round less often than on a 5 repeat range.

It rated 6 Star on the AAAC acoustic scale and is 100 percent waterproof, and Terra Mater allows it in bathrooms and laundries subject to local waterproofing rules. The warranty is lifetime structural, 30 years wear at home and 15 years wear in commercial use, with hydronic underfloor heating covered.
