PRODUCT INFORMATION
PRODUCT INFORMATION

Spotted Gum in the 9mm range carries the olive-gold ground and dark gum veining that make the species unmistakable: the highest-contrast design in this tier, on the largest board we stock.

Spotted gum is the timber Australians ask for most often, and the reason is the contrast: dark streaking against a golden ground gives a floor depth no European oak print can match. On a 1800 x 230mm plank, that veining runs further before a join interrupts it, which is much closer to how the real timber behaves and is the main argument for a long, wide format.

It is also the most forgiving design in the range. With this much variation across the surface, marks, dust and everyday traffic have nowhere to show: a practical choice for hallways and family rooms as well as a handsome one.

Solid spotted gum needs sanding and recoating over its life and will cup if water sits on it. This is 100% waterproof, with the underlay already attached and a 5G click profile. 25 years residential and 10 years commercial warranty. Supply and install available across Sydney.
