Smoked Brown - 14/2mm Bonita Engineered Timber Flooring

Bonita Smoked Brown is a mid to dark warm brown with a caramel undertone and clear oak grain, the colour of a traditional stained oak floor. It is lighter and browner than Cuban, which runs red, and far warmer than Brescia.

A warm mid-dark brown is the least risky of the dark floors. It grounds a room without closing it in, sits with cream, white and stone walls, and works with both timber and painted joinery. It hides mid-tone dust well; pale pet hair will show. Under cool white LEDs it flattens, so a warmer globe does it a favour.

Bonita is engineered European oak, 14mm thick with a 2mm veneer over cross-laminated plywood, in 1900mm by 190mm boards with a tongue and groove profile. Installation is direct stick or floating with PVA-glued joints. The surface is a seven-coat UV-cured matt at 5 to 8 percent gloss, with a four-side micro bevel.

Grade is ABCD, so knots, checks and colour variation are part of the floor, and a box may contain up to a quarter short boards. Six boards per pack, 2.166m2, 20.3kg. Residential warranty is 25 years on the structure and 7 years on the coating, and the floor is not for wet areas.
