Bellmore Oak - 12mm Oakleaf HD Plus Laminate Flooring

Bellmore Oak is a light warm blonde-tan: brighter and cleaner than Hampton Oak, with the same open knots but less depth of colour, so it lifts a room rather than warming it up. It sits in the useful middle of the Preference Floors Oakleaf HD Plus range: pale enough to keep a space open, warm enough not to feel clinical, and characterful enough that everyday marks disappear into the grain. If you want the same board with more honey in it, Hampton Oak; if you want it cooler, Windsor.

Knots and grain movement only earn their keep if the print does not repeat too soon, and this is a high definition digital print with 30 pattern repeats, where most laminates cycle every six to ten boards. On a blonde board the knots are the highest-contrast feature, which makes them exactly what the eye would otherwise catch appearing twice. The planks are 2200mm long and 196mm wide, so end joins stay well down across an open-plan floor.

AC4 rated for everyday residential wear, with a 48 hour water-resistant core and a moisture-protection treated V4 micro bevel. Super matte coating, Välinge click floating installation, P3 slip under AS 4586, and GOLD Greenguard Certified for low chemical emissions. Preference back it with a 25 year limited structural warranty and 20 years on the finish.

One limitation: suitable over in-slab hydronic heating only, not electric underfloor heating. Supply and install available across Sydney.
