Red Stone - 7.5mm Easi-Plank Hybrid Flooring

Set the name aside. Easi-Plank Red Stone is a mid warm grey-brown with heavy sawn texture, open knots and a weathered surface, and there is very little red in it. It is the rustic board of the range, a distressed greige-brown, and Jarrah is where the red lives.

Distressed decors do their best work in plain rooms with flat joinery and plasterboard walls, where the floor carries the character. They also forgive the most: scuffs, sand and pet traffic disappear into a surface that already looks worked. In a room full of pattern it will be one thing too many.

The board is a 7.5mm stone polymer composite with 1.5mm of IXPE acoustic underlay already attached and a 0.5mm wear layer. Its rigid core is what lets it go over sound existing tiles with little telegraphing, and it floats on a Unilin click with a V4 micro bevel. Board length is 1520mm, in a 180mm or a 228mm width.

It tested P4 for wet slip to AS 4586:2013 and AAAC 5 Star for impact noise at L'nTw 42 dB. Preference Floors had the core tested by XRD and it holds no respirable crystalline silica. Interior water resistant, not for wet areas, in-slab hydronic heating only, and a residential warranty of 25 years structural and 20 years wear.
