Iconic Graphite is a mid cool grey-taupe with strong cathedral grain running the length of the board. The name is fair: it is a proper mid grey rather than a charcoal, and the brown sitting underneath it keeps the floor from going cold and blue in a south-facing room.

Mid greys are the practical choice in a house with pets or children, because they sit between the two extremes that show everything. A pale floor shows hair and a dark floor shows dust; a mid grey shows neither until it needs a clean.

It pairs with white and off-white walls, black tapware and pale timber furniture. Against warm honey oak joinery it can look a little sombre, so if the kitchen is golden, Flagstone or Crystal will sit more easily.

Each plank is 1520 x 228 x 7.5mm on a wood plastic composite core with 1.5mm of acoustic underlay already bonded on, 2.080m2 to a carton. The core contains no respirable crystalline silica, confirmed by an XRD test, so cutting boards on site does not release silica dust. Slip resistance is P3 on the wet pendulum test to AS 4586:2013, and the floor was tested at AAAC 6 Star for impact noise, with an L'nTw of 39 dB.

Delivery

What are the Delivery Charges?

We offer free delivery on orders of $50 and up to all major metropolitan areas across Australia, including all state and territory capitals for Rugs only. Some exclusions may apply if your postcode is excluded one of our team members will contact you and will discuss delivery options. 

If you live outside our free delivery zone, we advise you to contact us through the chat function on our website or by emailing us info@adorerugs.com.au and we can provide a quote/ arrange alternative delivery options for you.

For flooring deliveries:

Delivery fees will be incurred. Shipping costs can vary depending on your location please contact us through email or call/message 0483 939 938.

How long does delivery take?

While delivery times vary depending on your location, we find standard delivery to major metropolitan areas usually occur within 3-7 business days once the payment has been processed. Rural areas can (but not always) take longer depending on where you live but do usually arrive within 5-10 business days.

We also offer Express Delivery to Sydney Metropolitan areas and it usually takes 1-3 Business Days, this service is free on orders of $500 and over and costs $30 on orders of $500 and below . Please note this service is for online orders only and it is not yet available for areas other than Sydney Metropolitan.

It’s also important to keep in mind some couriers have postcode exclusions. If you find this is to be the case please contact us and we can look to arrange another method for delivery to you. 

All items will be delivered during business hours. Usually, we request the courier to call prior delivery, but we can't guarantee on behalf of courier.

Can I pick up/Click and Collect?

Click and Collect and Pick Up from our local store is available at111 Station Rd Auburn NSW. Please allow 24 hours processing time. You will be notified when your order is ready for pick up via email/sms.

What happens if I'm not home?

By default couriers have "Authority to leave" which means if the address is correct and the courier deems your porch a safe place to place your rug they will do so. 

If you don't want this option and have any special delivery instructions such as 'signature on delivery' or if you'd like the couriers to put your package in a different safe spot you can request it by writing on the "delivery instructions" on checkout or emailing us at info@adorerugs.com.au and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

Is there anywhere you cannot deliver?

We cannot deliver to the following postcodes due to courier restrictions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Returns

Online Orders

If you have purchased an item online you are eligible for a return for up to 21 days after the date of purchase. You will not be eligible for a return if it passes 21 days. 

You will be responsible for paying shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is dirty or damaged we will not issue a refund.

To complete your return, please email info@adorerugs.com.au and in the subject line please write "Return + Order number" and give a detailed reason for the returning item, include photos if possible. 

Please allow up to 48 hours to get a response back regarding further instructions for the return process. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 21 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Exchange (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@adorerugs.com.au  

In store purchases

We do not offer refunds on change of mind purchases when shopping in store. You are, however, eligible to exchange your rug within 48 hours of purchase. 


To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is dirty or damaged we will not accept an exchange. 

Alterations/Custom Sizing

If you request any alterations such as overlocking or requesting a custom size the customised rugs become non refundable this is applicable to both in store and online purchases.
