Naples - Manor Inn - 9mm Cut Pile Carpet

Manor Inn is a dark slate with a clear blue undertone, and it is the colour in the Naples range that most often surprises people once it is down. Under a showroom light it can pass for charcoal; in a real room, particularly against white walls, the blue comes forward and the floor reads as deep slate rather than grey. It is essentially Aqua Lane taken to full depth, and beside Water Front, which is a plain cool grey, the difference is unmistakable. Use it where you want a floor with some drama and some colour: media rooms, main bedrooms with darker joinery, studies, or a stair run that ties into navy or deep green cabinetry. Avoid it where the fixed finishes are warm. Against honey oak, tan leather or terracotta the blue will look cold and slightly out of place, and Cove Beach gives you the same depth on the warm side of the palette.

Naples is a Belgotex tufted cut pile carpet in 100% solution dyed nylon, finished at 9.0mm total thickness on an Action Fleece backing and supplied in a 4.0m width. A deep colour like this benefits from the lower pile height, because there is less pile movement to show up as light and dark shading across a large floor.

Solution dying is what makes a strong colour like Manor Inn a sensible long-term decision. Pigment is introduced when the nylon is made, so the slate blue cannot sun-bleach along a window line the way a surface-dyed dark carpet eventually will, and spot cleaning will not lift a pale patch out of it. Belgotex classify Naples as Extra Heavy Duty Residential, the top domestic grade, with a Light Duty Commercial rating only. It is more than robust enough for a busy family house, but it is not specified for offices, shops or commercial fitouts.

Belgotex back the range with a 15 year residential warranty, and no commercial warranty is offered on Naples. Supply and install available across Sydney.
