Naples Cut Pile Carpet
Naples is a Belgotex tufted cut pile at 9.0mm over an Action Fleece backing, ten colours, supplied 4.0m wide. The relatively low pile height is what suits it to large floors: it keeps shading and vacuum tracking to a minimum across a big expanse where a deeper plush would show every path.
Be clear about where it belongs. Belgotex rate Naples Extra Heavy Duty Residential, which is the top grade for a home, but only Light Duty Commercial. This is a residential carpet, not a specification for an office, a shop or a commercial fitout. If you need a commercial rating, Westminster or Alexandria are the ranges to look at.
The yarn is 100% solution dyed nylon. Dark carpets are the ones most likely to fade unevenly in Australian light, and this construction is the defence against that. It also means spills can be cleaned properly without leaving a lighter mark where you worked.
Warranty is 15 years residential. No commercial warranty is offered on this range, which follows from the Light Duty rating rather than being an oversight. Low VOC, solution dyeing that uses no water, ISO 14001 environmental management.
