Naples - Aqua Lane - 9mm Cut Pile Carpet

Aqua Lane is the only genuinely blue-toned colour in the Naples range. It is a soft blue-grey rather than an aqua in the swimming-pool sense: gentle, chalky, and clearly blue when you set it beside Central Ave or Water Front, both of which are plain cool greys with no colour in them at all. Think of it as the light version of Manor Inn, the dark slate blue further down the range. It is a lovely bedroom carpet, particularly in coastal and Hamptons-style homes where the walls are white and the joinery is a soft blue or green, and it works well in a child or guest bedroom where a flat grey would feel institutional. It is not a neutral, and it should not be treated as one. In a room built on terracotta, tan leather or warm timber, the blue will sit awkwardly and Pier One or Little Harbour will be the better choice.

Naples is a Belgotex tufted cut pile carpet made from 100% solution dyed nylon and finished at 9.0mm total thickness over an Action Fleece backing. The pile height is modest for a cut pile, which gives you a soft, even surface underfoot without the depth and movement of a 12mm plush. It is a practical texture for bedrooms and a forgiving one in rooms that get vacuumed often.

Because the nylon is solution dyed, the blue is part of the fibre rather than a coating on it.
