Fertile Oak - 9.5mm Duro Plus Hybrid Flooring

Duro Plus Fertile Oak is a mid warm sandy tan with clear oak grain, a few small knots and dark flecks, and moderate variation from plank to plank. It is the warmest of the three oak decors in the range: Natural Oak is greyer and Easter Oak is paler and cooler.

Warm mid-tone oaks are the floors that get chosen when the rest of the room is not settled yet. They sit with white, cream and putty walls, with oak or walnut furniture, and with both brass and black fittings, and a mid tone shows less dust than a pale board and less lint than a dark one. Under cool grey joinery it will read a little yellow, so Natural Oak is the better match there.

Duro Plus runs an 8mm rigid core with a 1.5mm acoustic underlay already attached, 9.5mm in total, under a 0.5mm wear layer. Boards are 1800mm by 228mm, so a 4m room takes a little over two board lengths rather than nearly three.

The embossed matt surface follows the printed grain, the edges carry a micro bevel on all four sides, and the boards click together with a drop lock profile and float without glue. A 22kg pack holds three boards, 1.2312m2. Wet slip is P3 to AS 4586:2013, and HTT backs the floor with a 25 year residential structural warranty.
