Easi-Plank Herringbone - Classic Spotted Gum - 8mm Hybrid Flooring

Classic Spotted Gum is the richest colour in the Easi-Plank Herringbone range — a golden amber with dark grain streaking that carries the warmth and variation of the species. In herringbone it reads as a genuinely traditional parquetry floor, the kind you would expect to find in a restored terrace or a period apartment, and it is the colour to choose if the point of laying herringbone is that people notice it.

It is worth being clear that this is hybrid, not timber — and for a herringbone floor that is often the better answer. The blocks are 625mm x 125mm SPC with a 0.7mm commercial-grade wear layer and a 1.0mm acoustic underlay already bonded to the back, so there is no separate underlay to buy or lay. On herringbone that saves both money and trouble, because the set-out is exacting and a loose underlay moving beneath it does not help.

SPC is fully waterproof, which is what lets a herringbone floor run into a kitchen or an entry — places a timber parquetry floor has no business being. Backed by a 25 year limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years residential wear and 5 years commercial.
