Easi-Plank Herringbone - Red Stone - 8mm Hybrid Flooring

Red Stone is the darkest and most characterful colour in the Easi-Plank Herringbone range — a mid-dark reddish brown with grey smoked through it, so the red never becomes orange. It is the closest thing here to a traditional stained parquetry floor, and it belongs in a room with enough light to carry it: in a small or south-facing space it will close things in.

The blocks are 625mm x 125mm SPC with a 0.7mm commercial-grade wear layer and a 1.0mm acoustic underlay bonded to the back, so there is no separate underlay to buy or lay. Fully waterproof, which is what lets a dark parquetry floor run into a kitchen or entry without the anxiety a timber one would bring.

Backed by a 25 year limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years residential wear and 5 years commercial. The usual dark-floor caveat applies: dust and footprints show more readily than on a mid tone, though the depth of colour and the pattern together disguise a good deal.

Herringbone takes longer to lay than straight plank and the set-out line governs the whole room. Supply and install available across Sydney.
