Screen colours vary between devices and our descriptions are a guide only. Slight variation between production batches is normal, so we recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
Sierra Oak is the warmest of the pale boards in the Preference Floors Oakleaf HD Plus range: a light blonde-tan with a smooth, even grain and very little tonal shift between planks. Set beside Alpine Mist it carries a touch more gold; set beside Delta Sand it is a different world, because Delta Sand is genuinely cool and this is genuinely warm. It is the pale board to choose when the room does not get much direct sun and a cool floor would make it feel colder still.
On a smooth, even colour there is nowhere for a short pattern repeat to hide, which is why the print matters here: a high definition digital print with 30 pattern repeats, where most laminates cycle every six to ten boards. The planks are 2200mm long and 196mm wide, so end joins are few, and on a low-contrast board, joins are the main thing that gives a floor away.
AC4 rated for everyday residential wear, with a 48 hour water-resistant core and a moisture-protection treated V4 micro bevel. Super matte coating keeps glare down under downlights, Välinge click installs it floating, P3 slip under AS 4586, and GOLD Greenguard Certified for low chemical emissions. Preference back it with a 25 year limited structural warranty and 20 years on the finish.
One limitation: suitable over in-slab hydronic heating only, not electric underfloor heating. Supply and install available across Sydney.
