Herringbone 7.0 Hybrid Flooring
Herringbone 7.0 is built around the pattern rather than adapted to it. Each block is 600 x 150mm at 7mm, including 1.5mm of pre-attached IXPE acoustic underlay, and the UniZip profile is engineered specifically for the angled joins herringbone creates rather than borrowed from a straight-plank lock. That locking detail is the reason to look at this over a plank range laid in a herringbone pattern. Angled joins put load on a click profile in a direction a straight-plank lock was never designed for, which is where gaps open up over time.
Micro-bevelled edges give every block its own shadow line, and the wearing surface is a 0.55mm layer under an anti-bacterial UV coating. Packs cover 0.9m2 across 10 boards.
Be realistic about installation. Herringbone means more cuts, careful setting out and additional labour compared with a plank floor, and that belongs in the budget from the start rather than as a surprise.
The core is waterproof, though a click-together floor is not a waterproof assembly and no substitute for a membrane, so check with us before specifying it for a wet area. Warranty is 25 years residential and 5 years commercial. A plus VOC rating, phthalate free and fully recyclable at end of life. Sydney supply and install, supply only, or bring your own installer.
