Screen colours vary between devices and our descriptions are a guide only. Slight variation between production batches is normal, so we recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
Crosswood Raw Timber is a pale cream oak with a warm, faintly pink cast and clear grain, the colour of unstained European oak under a clear matt. It is warmer than Latte Oak and smoother than Limed Wash.
A natural pale oak herringbone suits almost any light scheme, from Scandinavian white to warm coastal cream, and it dates more slowly than a tinted block because it simply looks like timber. Oak warms in sunlight over the years, so move rugs around during the first summer. Dust and hair show sooner than on a mid tone.
Each block is 600mm long, 127mm wide and 14mm thick, with a 3mm European oak veneer over a plywood core that allows a light sand and recoat later on. Blocks have a tongue and groove profile, are fixed direct to the subfloor as HTT recommends for 14mm and 15mm boards, and carry a micro bevel on all four edges.
The surface is a 5 to 8 percent matt. Grade is ABCD, with knots, checks and variation between blocks part of the floor. A 16.5kg pack holds 24 blocks and covers 1.8288m2. Wet slip tested P3 to AS 4586:2013, and the residential warranty is 25 years structural and 7 years finish.
